The tour will be hosted by a registered beekeeper. The tour will begin with a motivational talk on bees and how they work and live.

Depending on the time of year and the conditions of the day, we will open a hive and you will see first-hand what bees do inside and why they do the things they do.

If you are lucky enough, you may very well spot the queen.

If there has been enough production, we will remove some frames and start uncapping them to prepare for the honey extraction where you will get your hands all sticky and extract some honey yourself and get to keep a bottle of the honey that you have extracted.

We cannot make any promises what you will see or what the outcomes are as we never know beforehand what is happening in the hive.

The entire tour will take around 3 – 4 hours.

We take a maximum of 4 people to ensure maximum time with the bees along with both yours and the bees’ comfort and safety.
